Job Description

Are you a natural born leader with the ability to plan, organize, and evaluate? Do you have a "fix it" attitude and enjoy mentoring others? If so, Broadstreet Properties is looking for a Maintenance Team Lead to prioritize the work of Maintenance Technicians for our multi-family residential units in Southeast Edmonton. The role will assist with hands-on maintenance duties on site and ensure staff are confident in taking on the maintenance of their assigned property.


  • Prioritize work order completion based on urgency 
  • Complete any required weekly, monthly, semi-annual or annual building and/or system inspections
  • Support the completion of all maintenance activities
  • Ensure all work orders are closed and software updated in a timely manner
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.

  • 2+ years' experience leading a team
  • Related maintenance experience
  • Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Great organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and multi-task
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and specialized software programs
  • Strong verbal, listening, written communication skills required
  • Articulate and confident standing up and delivering to large audiences
