We are currently looking for an Experiential Marketing Manager in our Canadian Headquarters in Ajax, Ontario As an adaptable, dynamic, and experienced event management professional, you love travelling, interacting with diverse groups of people, and not having a typical “9-5 job”. As the Experiential Marketing Specialist, you will have the opportunity to have oversight of and manage Audi Canada product marketing events such as new product launches, auto shows, driving experience events, and dealer meetings. Working closely with our agency partners, you will deliver extraordinary events that help the organization achieve its goals Reporting to the Manager, Brand Marketing, you will have primary responsibility for event management as well as the creation, selection and distribution of all marketing materials to be used for events Primary Responsibilities:
  • Leads the planning process for national and regional events in conjunction with the Manager, Brand Marketing
  • Leads the implementation of the event plan securing whatever external support needed (along with RFPs, bidding, etc.) to execute events including sponsorships, dealer events, regional auto shows, driving experience, European delivery, dealer meetings and the Canadian quattro cup.
  • Build relations with AUDI AG in the areas of auto shows, driving experience, event marketing, central marketing etc. to support the long term efforts of Audi Canada
  • Track and manage the budget for all this activity
  • Liaise with the advertising agency in the creation of required marketing materials
  • Co-ordinate with any external event agencies in the implementation of Audi event activities
  • Qualifications

    What we’re asking for:
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing or related field
  • An automotive enthusiast with a positive attitude and proven ability to be an effective collaborator, team player, and ability to work well under pressure
  • 5-10 years of event management experience, including budget management responsibility
  • Proven success in successful project management and execution of events
  • Partners at all levels of the organization, with ability to negotiate and influence to achieve results
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; Fluency in French preferred
  • Flexibility for up to 50% travel within approximately 33% travel will be required within Canada (Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver) and occasional travel to Germany.
