Job Description

This individual must be a nimble, creative thinker who thrives on applying their exceptional written and oral communications skills across a spectrum of communications challenges.

  • Work with company leadership to develop and implement internal communications strategies that support the company objectives.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to draft internal companywide communications that inform and engage employees (HR, IT, Finance, etc).
  • Provide ongoing management of intranet, a biweekly newsletter, quarterly all-hands meetings, and other internal communications vehicles.
  • Develop and manage the internal communications toolkit (templates, guides, best practices) for Regional and Functional leadership to support organizational level communications.
  • Ensure internal communications align with the company brand, mission, vision, and values.
  • Maintain ongoing internal communications calendar.
  • Promote employee engagement through internal campaigns.
  • Requirements
  • 5-7 years managing communications strategies, at least 2 years focused on internal communications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Public Relations, or relevant field of study.
  • Experience managing external communications and content creation agencies/freelancers
  • Superior project management skills, including experience managing internal and external stakeholders, multiple campaigns and projects at once.
  • Understanding and affinity for the importance of Brand equity and governance
  • A collaborative approach, positive outlook, and relish teamwork.
  • Proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less, and a track record of staying on budget.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Powerpoint and design software like Adobe (Photoshop) etc. is an asset
